All citizens of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay are eligible to lease a commercial space in Muwekma Village as it becomes available, with priority given to owner-operated service providers that enhance the quality of life of Village residents. More than two dozen storefronts will be available for lease to restauranteurs, merchants, barbers, bakers, booksellers, or whatever else could make our village a more vibrant place.
Applications to secure a commercial space in the Village will be reviewed by the Authority's Board of Commissioners on a rolling basis. Commercial space will not be available until at least January 2026. Terms and conditions of the application process and tenancy agreements will be determined by the Board of Commissioners and the Tribal Council.

A one-page letter to the Tribal Council requesting commercial space that describes your employment and career history, why you would be a good tenant of a commercial space, and how you intend to contribute to or enrich the civic and community life of the Tribe when you become a commercial tenant of the village.
